I have always had a love for motorcycles but up until recently, I was only a happy passenger. For years, I wanted to learn to pilot my own bike, but I never had the chance or made the effort. In April 2021, that changed when I purchased my first motorcycle and started riding my own bike (a 1984 Honda Ascot VT500).
After two months of practice, I took an MSF class through my local Harley-Davidson dealership in June 2021. I passed the test first time and was awarded my M class license.
Since I then I have been running full steam ahead. I am hooked. I recently purchased my sixth bike and currently own a 2021 Harley Road King Special and a 2022 BMW R1250GS, who I call Big Martha.
In 2022 and 2023 I rode to the Sturgis Rally to meet my Father and Uncle. In 2022 I took my BMW R1250GS and in 2023, I rode my Harley-Davidson Road King Special. Now that it's winter again, I'm planning my 2024 . Where should I go next?
Weasel is an exceptionally talented and experienced mechanic and a super good motorcycle rider. He can do wheelies!
His specialty is diesel mechanics, and he is skilled and competent with just about any technical or mechanical application. He has been riding all sorts of different bikes since he was a kid and currently owns over 30 different motorcycles.
Weasel has been my coach, riding & travel partner, and teacher throughout my motorcycle experience. He's been there more than once to help me pick up my bike after a drop, and to repair any damages I may have inflicted on my poor motorcycle.
